These terms apply to use of this website and to quotes, samples and orders from Bay Area Harness, a Dead Reckoning company ("we", "us"). A signed purchase order or written agreement that conflicts with these terms controls for that order. Questions: support@bayareaharness.com.

Website

Content on this site, including drawings, sample test reports and illustrations, is provided for information. Sample reports contain illustrative values and are not records of any customer's parts. You may not copy the site's content for commercial use without permission.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise. Prices and lead times assume the approved drawing, quantities and parts availability stated in the quote. Lead times start when you approve the drawing. The Bay Area delivery time applies to standard builds with in-stock connectors at the delivery addresses we serve.

Your designs

You are responsible for your design, including the suitability of connectors, wire, ratings and pin assignments for your application. We build to the drawing you approve. If you send a sketch or photo, the drawing we prepare becomes the build specification once you approve it. You confirm you have the right to share any design you send us.

Free samples

Free samples are offered at our discretion, one per company unless agreed otherwise, for evaluating our workmanship. Samples are not intended for production, safety-critical or field use and are provided as-is.

Orders, payment and delivery

Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery. Please report shortages or visible damage within 5 business days of delivery.

Warranty

We warrant that assemblies conform to the approved drawing and are free from defects in our workmanship for 90 days from delivery. If an assembly does not meet this warranty, we will repair or replace it, or refund its price, at our option. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, modification, or use outside the ratings of its components, and does not cover your design. Component manufacturers' warranties pass through to you where permitted.

EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO AN ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT ORDER, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS.

Confidentiality

We keep your drawings and technical information confidential and use them only to quote and build your parts.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
